A Bismuth Geode. Looks like a cyborgenetic egg

I’m fairly certain this is lab-created bismuth (as most bismuth crystals are), which doesn’t make it any less awesome. It’s hard finding pure bismuth naturally and it normally doesn’t form like this (which is like the most famous form of bismuth). It is ‘relatively nontoxic’ and has a low melting point just above 271 °C, so crystals may be grown using a household stove, although the resulting crystals will tend to be lower quality than lab-grown crystals. Bismuth was discovered to be radioactive, but has a half-life billions of times older than that of the universe. Among different practical uses of Bismuth, you’ll find it in your Pepto-Bismol.
